The Shetland Tea Shawl, she is finished!

She took about six weeks to knit (with a one week break before I started the border). The border took about eight days but was well worth the effort. It's over 3" wide and has a lovely fluttery quality which I think makes the shawl.

The shawl pattern, which comes from the Gathering Of Lace book, was designed by Dale Long. It's a variation on Elizabeth Zimmerman's famous Pi Shawl, and I think it's my favorite of all the pi variations I've seen.

I used about six ounces of Jagger Zephyr, and don't know the name of the color. Needles were size 3.

Yes, that's my bed, and yes, I slept on the sofa for a night. I don't mind being kicked out of bed for the STS.
