Better?

OK, made some changes based on your feedback. Getting better? I'm still wavering over the coffee press, so a ghost of it is still there. And once again, I haven't gotten into all of the detail.

better! although i don't know why a person would have a curtain that doesn't reach the bottom of the window.

The length of the curtain isn't a problem, IMHO.

The chairs are now similar enough to me to assume they're identical. The horizontal piece at the top of the left chair's back seems thicker than that of its counterpart. The left chair also has three vertical slats in the back instead of four. What is wrong with me, that I'm obsessing over chair backs? If you wanted to change this, it might be better to change the right chair.

The window wall is distinct now, which helps. If I had my druthers the window wouldn't be that close to the back wall, but if the wall corner moved it might crowd the painting.

I assume that the curtain is going to be translucent and that the side of the window sill will show through it.

I quite like the coffee press so far.

I think we're getting close to the point where I'm in the R+D department where they're inventing the wheel and pontificating on what colour it should be.

Coming in super-late here. Sorry I missed it earlier. I really like the tablecloth and the newspaper, and the painting on the wall. I agree about the curtain: not only is it too short, it should have more folds/pleats. The chair on the left isn't aligned correctly, but then I figure it's probably difficult to convey from that angle.
