That was scary. After doing loads of research and going back and forth a hundred times, I have just bought my very first new car: a 2006 Toyota Matrix. I love it. I also liked the Ford Focus, and if a local dealer had had one on the lot, I probably would have bought it, but no such luck. The Toyota is great. I am still reeling from sticker shock, but I'm sure I'll get over it, eventually.
Check out the odometer. The total mileage is the number on top.

- an anonymous New Yorker who will never buy a car unless she a) moves out of New York and b) gets over her highway phobia, so there is about a 10-15 percent chance of that happening, which is not that much
Lucie! It's a great looking car! I know you'll enjoy it. I've had a Toyota for over 10 years and it's been such a blessing!
