I think the memorial is looking pretty good at this point. Now if only I can stop myself from picking at it. Want to add figures! painting little people is dessert.

Current state of my two works in progress. The Jefferson Memorial painting is about twice the size of the cherry blossom painting.

getting my groove back

It's been awhile, but I'm back in painting class, and here's my latest WIP. This is another scene from cherry blossom season in DC. Oil, 20" x 16". Comments welcome.
